With over 450 First Kicks and Juniors set to train tonight at Becroft Park, we are hoping not to see a repeat of last weeks chaos in the car park. As a club we have been inundated with feedback on the impact some drivers had on traffic flows last week.

To be clear, there are 12 marked parking spaces currently in the car park. We are working with council to expand this but currently it is not in their plan or budget to do anything. 

As a club we have made the decision, based on health and safety, to reserve the marked parking spaces for a our staff and coaches only. We will have cones out to promote an in and out flow for pick up and drop off but there should be no waiting. There are yellow lines in the entrance to the car park (if you had noticed), do not park on them, its illegal! 

If this is successful we may look to adopt over further nights training and even on Saturday mornings.

We understand that this week the council will be changing the orientation of the car parks along the side of the fields to be angle parking which will give is a couple more spaces but it will also mean no more drop offs.

Please also note that there are yellow lines in front of the entrance to the car park, please no not park on the small grass patch to the left of the entrance where kids enter the fields like one ute owner did last week (photo in our possession).
